Amazon Unveils New Ad Features to Optimize Brand Strategies

Recently, Amazon announced the release of a series of new advertising features aimed at helping brands successfully launch new products and continuously attract new customers. These features enable various brands to more easily capture new customers’ attention and drive conversions, thereby promoting business growth.

The newly introduced "New Product Ads" is a fully managed advertising service designed to help brands introduce their new products within the first 90 days of listing. Through multi-channel advertising on Amazon marketplace, stores, broadcasters, and publishers, this service quickly captures customer attention and generates interest.

In addition, Amazon Ads has expanded the capabilities of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to help brands continuously attract new customers. This solution allows brands to adjust ad bids based on customer interactions and visits, focusing on investing in high-value customers. With these new features, brands can efficiently create ads, accurately target their audience, and monitor the impact of their ads on conversion rates and return on ad spend (ROAS), thus optimizing their ad strategies.

Amazon Ads has also introduced a new advertising model that helps brands analyze the contribution of different marketing touchpoints to conversions. This model uses machine learning to assess shopping behaviors, providing brands with a more comprehensive performance analysis.

To further support brands, Amazon will launch an ad conversion report that showcases the top-performing methods over the past 30 days and offers long-term sales analysis. This report, based on customer visits to product pages, allows brands to forecast potential sales over the next year based on their advertising campaigns. The release of these new tools marks another advancement in Amazon Ads' measurement and optimization capabilities, offering more robust tools for both small and large brands.

These new features are currently in closed testing and will be open for public testing for U.S. brands later in 2024.
