Recently, Mars United released its 2024 Amazon Back-to-School Trends report, covering 21 product categories for July. This report highlights the Amazon product search trends that dominated during this crucial shopping period.

 

Overall, fashion and outdoor brands performed exceptionally well across multiple categories in July. Jansport excelled in organic and sponsored searches within the Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry, Sports & Outdoors, Computers & Accessories, and Electronics categories. The keyword "Jansport backpack" was a popular search term in the Clothing, Computers & Accessories, Electronics, and Sports & Outdoors categories, while "Jansport backpack for girls" ranked high in the Computers & Accessories category.

 

Similarly, The North Face brand ranked among the top in several organic and sponsored search categories, including Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry, Computers & Accessories, and Electronics. The keyword "North Face backpack" was the top organic search term in the Computers & Accessories category.

 

Yeti was among the top five in organic searches within the Sports & Outdoors, Kitchen & Dining, Patio, Lawn & Garden categories, and also ranked in the top five for sponsored searches in the first two categories. Meanwhile, the keyword "Yeti Cooler" was the second fastest-growing organic search term in Sports & Outdoors.

Baby: The Owala brand not only topped organic searches but also secured four out of the top ten most popular organic search terms. Additionally, Pampers and Huggies received significant attention in sponsored searches.

 

 

Beauty & Personal Care: "Pheromone cologne" and "pheromone perfumes" were popular organic search keywords. Beetles gel nail polish was the only brand to rank in the top five for both organic and sponsored searches.

 

Camera & Photo: Wyze, Eufy, and Aosu brands ranked in the top five for both organic and sponsored searches, with related search terms (such as Wyze and Eufy brand-specific keywords) dominating the top keyword list.

 

Cell Phones & Accessories: Cell phone accessories dominated the top search terms, with Sony, Samsung, Google, Charcast, Miracase, and Soundcore brands leading the rankings. The "Apple" brand frequently appeared in the top organic search terms.

 

Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry: The North Face was the only brand to rank in the top five for both organic and sponsored searches. Women's fashion brands Blooming Jelly (organic search) and Cupshe (sponsored search) maintained top positions for the second consecutive month. Seasonal apparel remained a focus among top search keywords.
