Amazon is rolling out a series of seller-friendly enhancements to its FBA program, starting with a new feature in its European marketplace: “Amazon-Recommended Packing.”

According to recent updates, this tool uses intelligent algorithms to analyze product demand and inventory patterns, then suggests optimal carton packing strategies. By following these packing recommendations, sellers can bypass intermediary sorting centers—allowing shipments to go directly to fulfillment centers. The result? Faster delivery timelines and lower costs.

Amazon Sellers who send at least 35 units in one shipment using this packing method will also enjoy a $0.15 per-unit discount on delivery fees—a welcome cost-saving measure in today’s tight-margin environment.

Looking ahead, Amazon has confirmed that the first half of 2025 will bring broader upgrades to the FBA system. These include:
