2025 Amazon US Seller Fees & FBA Costs Update: Waivers & Reductions

Despite the persistent impact of inflation, Amazon has made its largest-ever investments in wages and benefits for fulfillment center employees and delivery drivers. At the same time, through innovation, improved efficiency, and eliminating inefficiencies, Amazon has made significant progress in reducing service costs.

As a result, Amazon will not increase referral fees or FBA fees on the US Marketplace in 2025, nor will it introduce any new fee. Amazon will even lower some fees and offer additional discounts to support the growth of new product categories.

2025 Amazon US Marketplace: Selling Fees and FBA Cost Announcements

1. Inbound Configuration Fees: Waivers and Reductions

Fee Waivers

Amazon is introducing exciting new benefits to the FBA New Selection Program! For new parent ASINs created during a specific period, inbound configuration fees will be waived.

• Eligibility Period: December 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025
• Applicable Marketplace: US Marketplace
• Details:
  • For new parent ASINs that meet the requirements of the FBA New Selection Program and have shipments created between December 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, the inbound configuration fee will be waived.
  • The first 100 units of each new parent ASIN during this period will not incur inbound configuration fees.

Fee Reductions

In addition to the waivers, Amazon is reducing fees for certain large items. Starting January 15, 2025, inbound configuration fees for large items shipped to a single fulfillment center will decrease.

• Reduction Amount: An average of $0.58 per unit compared to 2024 rates.
• Applicable Marketplace: US Marketplace

This change offers significant cost savings for sellers managing large items.

2. New Products and New Sellers: Additional Incentives

Amazon will provide expanded discounts to encourage the introduction of specific new products to the marketplace. Enhanced discounts will be available under the New Seller Starter Kit and the FBA New Selection Program.

  • Discounts will be periodically updated on the Seller Discounts page.
  • Eligible products include:
    • Everyday essentials
    • High-demand products with limited selection on Amazon
    • Popular global brands desired by customers worldwide

3. 2025 Fulfillment Fees: Unchanged

From January 15, 2025, Amazon’s FBA fulfillment fees will revert to non-peak season rates, which will remain the same as the 2024 rates.
